  • Exhibition art program “Dialogue with citation” The cycle of exhibitions that unites outstanding painters and art critics of Ukrainian contemporary art highlights fundamental problems of modern art process. Art and time are interconnected: they superimpose projection on each other – monologue self-expression would not be possible without this action. The title of the project reflects the attempt to overcome quotation thinking that is the most typical sign of the XX century, when every new art phenomenon resembles “new fabric woven from old citations”. Dialogues with citations constitute the structure of the exhibitions frame and create certain art space that makes more appreciable and significant meta-space of discursive dialogue of different points of view. The subject-matter of the exhibitions is supposed to reveal crucial for our cultural epoch problems – how painters think about these problems, generalized summary of the discursive dialogue. Finally, authors and organizers of the project aim to dialogue, after all the true reality is reality “between” and dialogue on the merge of everything with the whole – the space, where “all contradictions live together”, as Dostoyevskyi says. Painters of the program: Olexander Babak , Vasyl Bazhay, Petro Bevza, Andriy Bludov, Volodymyr Budnikov, Matviy Vaysberg, Olexander Druganov, Olexander Dubovik, Olexander Zhyvotkov, Mykola Zhuravel, Dmytro Kavsan, Mykola Kryvenko, Anatoliy Kryvolap, Olaxander Matvienko, Vlada Ralko, Tiberiy Silvashi, Taras Tabaka, Vladyslav Shereshevskyi, Igor Yanovych
